Headteacher's Welcome

A very warm welcome to our school and website. We hope you find it interesting and informative and that it gives you an insight into life at St John’s. Do take a look at our virtual tour so that you can explore the school in more detail, we welcome visits to come and see us in action too.

At St John's we believe in a child-centred education, where children can access an exciting and varied curriculum. Through this approach our children learn to become increasingly independent and resilient, showing a genuine love of learning. Our values underpin all we do, with each child in our care treasured and loved as an individual, so they can let their light shine, which is our vision for this school.

We have a love of the great outdoors and the children enjoy forest school sessions every week. They also have access to their very own ‘trim trail’. We enjoy PE lessons in our sports field and at school we have climbing apparatus, some gorgeous playground equipment and great classroom resources.
